Mark Brown is an Antiguan-based contemporary artist. His bold work ignores the traditional boundaries of Caribbean art with its vulnerable exploration of human nature.
Mark draws inspiration from his heritage, religion, and complex inner world. His larger-than-lifesize canvases confront the viewer with challenging questions regarding life, choices, and journeys, and have been shown in exceptional galleries and exhibitions in New York, Toronto, France, and across the English and French West Indies.
In addition to fine art, Mark shares his passion as a Visual Arts Educator at the Antigua State College, does stage & set design for major national productions & corporate events, and curates bespoke luxury interiors.
